Finally, saying goodbye to Tibet. We took the 1:10p T224 train towards Xining, Qinghai (青海西寧. Train continues to Chongqing). Our train was delayed for about an hour enroute, which cut down on the vista we could see before sunset. We were in Qinghai at the end of the day.

Total consist: 2 locos, 1 generator, 5 hard sleepers, 2 soft sleepers, 1 diner, 5 hard seats and 3 more hard sleepers.

Leading locomotive is 0062. China ordered 78 from GE.

Our soft sleeper (ruanwuo). 25T is the most modern of the Chinese non-highspeed coaches.
