Starting the toughest part of our trip, heading west on G219 from Saga to Payang (帕羊). The area is extremely arid, sun relentless, facilities non-existent. Worst is that the G219 is basically a massive construction zone the whole way.

We stopped for a break near the Xiridajiling Monastery (昔日達吉嶺寺).
