We spent the rest of the afternoon in the Old Town of Salzburg before watching Sound of Music (what else!) at the Salzburg Marionette Theater.

Kajetanerkirche to the north of Nonnberg, consecrated in 1700.

Dom, the main cathedral.

Stift St. Peter.

Festungsgasse, the narrow street underneath Hohensalzburg.

Stift St. Peter, built in 12th C, modified many times.

Its famous cemetery. Inspiration for the escape scene in the movie.

Chapel in the Petersfriedhof, and not the main church.

Modern Artwork at Kapitelplatz (Chapter Square).

Good view of Hohensalzburg and its funicular.

Dom, first Baroque church north of The Alps. Consecrated 1628.
