I apologize for the poor picture quality. I was using my first digital camera, a 1.4MP Fuji.
First time I flew out of the new HKG at Chek Lap Kok.
No picture on the outbound trip.
Still dark out when I arrived HKG at 6:30a.
Modern and spacious terminal building.
UA 744s for ORD, SFO and NRT.
Still some construction work.
NW 742 to NRT.
The CO 772 that sits overnight at HKG.
I think that's my plane. Can't tell registration number.
Our plane was fully loaded with fuel for ORD. The wing tip was over a foot lower.
Taxiing.
Took off from Runway 7. The northern runway wasn't completed yet.
Gold Coast and Pearl Island.
