Day 3, 5/26/08:
We spent about 3 hours touring Middleton Place Plantation, about 14 miles NW of Charleston Downtown, and had lunch at their restaurant.
Before boarding our flight, we took a look at Columbia and the SC State Capitol building.
Reflection Pool is first sight from the parking lot.
May is not the best month for flowers, but we still saw some.
French-style sunken garden.
Greensward.
Our 10am tour group. We picked up more members later on.
Our wonderful guide, Miss Bonnie Grossman.
A magnolia.
Flooded rice fields.
Spanish moss.
The gentlemen's guest quarters - now the House museum.
Another view of the sunken garden.
