First day of our trek in the Annapurna Conservation Area towards Poon Hill. 75 minute drive from Pokhara to Naya Pul (1,000m), and then 4.5 hours of hiking to Tikhedhunga (1,500m), where we stayed at the Laxmi Guesthouse.

65L backpack to be carried by our porter.

Annapurna IV (7,525m/24,688ft) on L and Annapurna II (7,937m/26,040ft) in center. From roof of our hotel.

Annapurna II on right is 16th tallest peak in the world.
