Starting to head back east towards Lhasa. This time we got a totally clear view of Mt. Kailash (岡仁波齊峰). Overnighted at Payang (帕羊), our least favorite place in all of Tibet.

Found a new place for breakfast, just a few stores down from previous day's.

Yummy fried dough sticks.

Breakfast choices.

One last look at Ali.

Mountain ranges just SW of Ali.

Entrance to the new Ngari Gunsa (阿里昆莎) airport, which opened few days after we passed by.

At a no-name mountain pass.

Small prayer slips thrown out by truckers at the pass.

Back at the Hemu Teahouse (和睦茶館) where we stopped for brunch two days prior.

Bianba's lunch - Tsampa, with milk and sugar.

Our lunch includes the spam that we carried all the way from Hong Kong.

Proprietor of the tea house. Tibetans shouldn't point their fingers at anybody!

For some reason, she decides to show us her collection of the previous (4th) series of banknotes.

Back on the road, heading Southeast.

More antelopes. Here are a group of males.

A group of females.
