I made a short two-night trip to Las Vegas, Jan 22-24, a week before returning to work. This is just my 3rd time to LV, and 1st time to visit all the mega casinos on the Strip.

I took jetBlue from Burbank (BUR), and used public transportation everywhere. Unfortunately, weather was pretty bad for most of the trip, so I took very few pictures during the day, and not that many at night.

I took the Tokina 11-16 and the 17-55IS.

My trip started in Hollywood, where I took the #222 bus to BUR. Phantom was visiting Pantages on Hollywood Blvd.

The Capitol Records building, one block north of Hollywood/Vine, where I waited for the bus.

Arriving at BUR is like going back in time.

My jetBlue A320 arriving from JFK.

A ramp is used for front door, stairs for the rear.

jetBlue's planes are named. This is N648JB "What I Like About Blue"

The #222 bus stop was only 100 yards from the plane, just beyond those palm trees.

Very generous 34" pitch. There are 6 rows with 38" that cost $10 more for BUR-LAS.

Flight was less than 1/2 full.

jetBlue has 36 channels of free Live TV.

Google map on Ch 13. Graphics pretty primitive, but get the job done.

Cloudy the whole way. Only break in the clouds near the CA/NV border.

I got off the 109A city bus from LAS in the middle of nowhere! Should have taken one more stop to the South Strip Transit Center (at left).

Upper deck of the Deuce bus that runs up and down the Strip.

Here's a southbound Deuce bus outside the Fashion Show Mall, across from the Wynn.

"Sirens of TI", the 20-minute free show at my hotel, the Treasure Island.

Yes, there are male pirates in the show.
