4 weeks after my surgery, I felt well enough for an overnight trip to San Diego on Jan 12/13. Instead of AMTRAK, I took the Metrolink commuter train to Oceanside and then connect to the Coaster commuter train. Got the Sheraton Suites at Symphony Hall via Priceline in Downtown SD.
While there, I took the local buses and trolleys to La Jolla and Coronado.
I took the Tokina 11-16 and the 85/1.8 on this trip.
Trip starts at L.A. Union Station. This is the new East Hall.
