Spent half a day in Macau, before heading up to China again the next day.

Turbojet TriCats at the Hong Kong Terminal.

FBM Marine TriCat is one of 3 vessel-types used on the HK-Macau route.

Every 15 minutes during the day.

Another one at the pier.

Hai Kun to Jiuzhou in Zhuhai.

Boeing 929 Jetfoil. Turbojet is world's largest operator of this type. Old, but well maintained.

"Taipa" is the newest one, built 1981. Jetfoils have been the workhorses on this route for 30 years.

But I got "Barca", one of two Kværner Fjellstrand Foilcats in fleet.

Window seat on the upper-deck.

"Pico" (built 1975)

"Funchal" (1979)

"Guia" (1976)

Some of the vessels I saw enroute. "Park Island 7" in front of W. Kowloon reclamation project.

"Discovery Bay 1", one of 7 Marinteknik catamarans that sits 500.

Triple-deck "Xin Fa" (ex "Man Fat"). Built 1981.

Stonecutter's Bridge, part of Route 8, under construction.

An empty 6670-TEU "Maersk Kithira".

Fishing boat near Cheung Chau.
