My first visit to the Getty Villa in Pacific Palisades. It is the original location of the J. Paul Getty Museum before the opening of the Getty Center. It underwent massive restoration and reopened recently.

Modeled after the Villa dei Papiri in Herculaneum that was buried in Vesuvius ashes in 79AD.
